Право Магдебурзьке П.Щербича, Львів, 1581Unique stream in Ukrainian art of 1910th – 1930th called after its leading artists, Mykhailo Boichuk, “boichukism” is kept here. In soviet epoch boichukists were included into the list of repressed and prohibited painters and only nowadays they found a respective place in the museum exposition.

Some of «boichukist’s» art works are stored in Museum of Book and Printing of Ukraine – Kotliarevska Maria, Sakhnovska Olena and etc.

One of remarkable artist – Mykhailo Ivanovych Zhuk (born October 2, 1883, Kakhovka; died June 7, 1964, Odessa) is a Ukrainian graphic artist, painter, ceramist, poet, translator, and teacher. member of the Association of Revolutionary Art of Ukraine, the Association of Artists of Red Ukraine in the 1920s and the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1947; Vice-Rector of the Odessa Art Institute.

Caraffa-Korbut Sofia (1924 – 1996) was born in 1924, Lviv. Graphic artist, painter. Member of the UAS (1958). She graduated from the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1953). Teachers of the specialty: I. Hutorov, V. Manastyrskyi, R. Selskyi. Participant of exhibitions since 1954.
